Fast 800 Day Five- Dizziness and Boring Dinners

Starting weight: 79.8kg Today’s weight: 78.5kg

I’m on a definite downward trend weight-wise, I lost 0.5kg (about a pound) today which is great news. The downside of this quick weight loss is that I felt quite a lot of dizziness at times today. I had a quick google of ‘Fast 800 dizziness’ and it came up that a few people feel like this at the start, so I’m going to up my salt intake a bit and see if I adjust.

I spent my usual ten hours either at my desk or working from my sofa and a couple of times when I got up I had a definite faint feeling.
Partly, I think my body is in shock. It’s been used to a non stop smorgasbord of chocolate and biscuits the last few months and it wants to let go of that way of eating even less than I do. (Okay, I do want to get healthier, but I still wish that kind of food was healthy!)

Work is slightly stressful right now. I have a lot of deadlines and work that I’ve never done that is extremely complex. The good news about that is that I get lost in it, so it’s very engaging. The bad news is I keep forgetting to eat. It feels strange even to write that, because you’ll have to believe me when I say I have never before not been hungry. But I really haven’t been hungry the last couple of days. So today I forgot to eat lunch and by the time I remembered (when the doorbell rang and I stood up and felt that strange dizziness) it was too late to make anything decent, so I snacked enough calories to get by. Not ideal and I need to do better – basically the story of my whole life – I need to do better!
